Frequently asked questions
If a question you have isn't covered here, reach out to Junction support.
Which plan is right for me?
Start on Launch if you are connecting wearables and devices for up to 500 users — it covers the Link widget, 300+ device integrations, and usage analytics for a flat $300 a month. Move to Enterprise when you need lab testing, unlimited users, uptime SLAs, or a signed BAA. Most teams begin on Launch and switch once diagnostics become core to their product.
Do you offer startup discounts?
No. Launch is the cheapest plan on the market at $300 a month, so there is nothing below it for us to discount. Once your usage grows, volume discounts are available on Enterprise.
Can I try Junction before I pay?
Yes. The sandbox and developer docs are free, so your team can build and test a full integration before committing to a plan. Launch is billed monthly, so there is no annual contract to get started.
What happens if I pass 500 connected users?
Launch covers 1-500 connected users. If you expect to grow past that, talk to sales and we will size an Enterprise plan around your volume — unlimited users, volume discounts, and uptime SLAs are included.
How do I get access to lab testing?
Lab testing is part of Enterprise. That includes the lab testing API, our nationwide network (NY, NJ, and RI included), at-home kits and phlebotomy, custom panels, and an operations team that tracks results 6 days a week. There are no upcharges on the tests themselves.
Do you sign a BAA?
Every plan handles data in a HIPAA-compliant way. The signed Business Associate Agreement, our SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 reports, and customer-managed encryption keys are part of Enterprise.
How quickly can we go live?
Device data is typically flowing within days of picking up the API keys. Lab testing takes longer because kits and workflows are configured for you — expect 4-6 weeks depending on how much customization you need.
What is included in the kit for testing?
The contents of the kit vary by test panel, but will normally include: dried blood spot / ADX card(s), saliva collection tubes, high-flow blade lancets, gauze pad, alcohol prep pad, adhesive bandage, and a biohazard bag for specimen return.
What type of at-home testing do you do?
We support three modalities of testing. We currently support blood testing through dried blood spot and ADX cards, and saliva testing for at-home kits. We also offer at-home phlebotomy and in-person draws for serum samples.
How long does it take to set up the test kit process?
Our current process takes about 4-6 weeks to set up depending on the amount of customization you need. We will provide a more accurate timeline after learning more about what you are looking for.
Do I need a doctor for the order?
We provide the doctor’s order for the test, but we do not currently offer physician consults or personal result interpretations.
Is there a minimum order?
Our current minimum order quantity is 250 kits, but please ask us about smaller quantity orders!
What’s the average turnaround time for a test?
We ship out ordered tests within 24 hours of receiving your order, offer 2-day tracked shipping to your user, 2-3 day tracked shipping back to the lab, and results within 2-3 days — all in business days.
What type of labs do you use?
We only work with CLIA and CAP certified labs.
